Praying For Chardon

As I write this, the news of the school shooting in Chardon, Ohio has been on the air almost non-stop. One day after the shooting, we now know there are three young people who have died as a result of this senseless tragedy. We know that the gunman was one of their peers – only a teenager.

Lent

The season of Lent will start with Ash Wednesday on February 22, 2012. We will not be having an Ash Wednesday service this year due to low attendance in the past. However, the Interchurch Council will have a service and I will make sure to let you know when that will be.
